DESCRIPTION
This essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from the dry resin of Frankincense, which is an aromatic resin obtained from trees of the genus Boswellia. This plant is found in various species and resin grades, depending upon time of harvesting. Owing to its sweet and soothing fragrance, it is used in incense as well as in perfumes.

It blends well with other oils, such as benzoin, sandalwood, lavender, myrrh, pine, orange, bergamot and lemon.

This essential oil finds wide usage in perfumery and aromatherapy applications.
